Representing the national team for the first time:1990 September 12, Spain VS Brazil. Cafu represented Brazil in the 1994 FIFA World Cup, but he didn't have many chances to play. Cafu didn't really feel the World Cup until the final against Italy. He replaced right-back Joel Zinho who couldn't play because of injury. In the game, he blocked the Brazilian team from defending roberto baggio's many attacks. Brazil also won the World Cup for the fourth time in a row with watertight defense.

After the World Cup in the United States, Cafu became one of the most stable members of the Brazilian national team. Together with roberto carlos, Cafu is the most offensive defender in today's football.

Cafu, as the captain of Brazil's national team, won the Copa America with 1997 and 1999.

1997 Cafu joined the Italian Rome team and became the main player of the Brazilian national team.

Cafu participated in all seven matches of France 1998 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, and finally helped Brazil win the runner-up. It was in this World Cup that Cafu became one of the best right-backs in the world.

Cafu's tireless right-wing attack benefited the Brazilian national team a lot. Like roberto carlos on the left, Cafu made Brazil put strong pressure on their opponents like a tidal wave.

Cafu first represented his hometown of Sao Paulo in the professional league in 1988. Sao Paulo won the Libertadores Cup of South America twice in succession in 1992 and 1993. Cafu 1995 joined Real Zaragoza, Spain. In his first season in this Spanish club, Cafu tasted the European Cup Winners' Cup. Cafu 1996 returned to China briefly and joined Palmeiras. A year later, he chose Rome, Italy, where he won the Serie A championship in 2000-200 1 season.
