In order to curb the spread of this phenomenon, last season, UEFA issued new Champions League rules, stipulating that each club must have at least seven "locally trained" players on the 25-person Champions League registration list.
"Local training" requires players to be between 15 and 2 1 and have been training in this country for at least three years.
For example, the "native" players of Inter Milan need to train in Italy for at least three years.
