Goulin Dingdong Ancestral Temple

Ding Dong Zushi Temple is located in He Ying Village, Goulin Town, dengzhou city. The flat Nanyang basin swells a mound from east to west here, and then gradually extends to northwest, forming a magnificent mountain peak. According to legend, Emperor Xuanwu rode a unicorn around the world. When he stopped here, he knocked off his shoes and became this mountain, hence the name "Qilin Mountain". Later, people built a "ancestral temple" on Qilin Mountain to worship Xuanwu God. To put it another way, Emperor Xuanwu intended to go to Wudang Mountain in the southwest, but after a short rest here, not only did his shoes become ashes, but he also inadvertently made his birthright higher than Wudang Mountain. This means that Xuanwu God first came to Ding Dong and then went to Wudang. This adds some mystery to the efficacy of Ding Dong ancestral temple. Xuanwu is the god of the north, and it is the floorboard of seven of the 28 hotels in the north. There are many sayings about Xuanwu in Taoism. Generally speaking, when the Yellow Emperor was born, Queen Le was pregnant 14 months, born in Xuanwu on the third day of March of the first year of Ziyun. He was clever and brave, and did not succeed to the throne. 65-year-old, 438+05, inspired by the monarch of purple gas, practiced for 42 years. On the ninth day of September in the fifty-seventh year of Huangdi Ziyun, his career was full, and he was named by the Jade Emperor as a demon wandering Buddha, a jade teacher and a mysterious god, guarding the north. In the Northern Song Dynasty, Dazhong was blessed for five years. Inspired by dreams, in order to avoid the jealousy of the holy father Zhao, he changed his martial arts to true martial arts. After the seal, Zhenwu was declared as "Zhenwu Ling should be the true monarch", "Shengzhen Wulin Ling should be the true monarch" and "Shengzhen Wulin Ling should be the true monarch". The rulers of the Yuan Dynasty even worshipped the northern Zhenwu God as the protector of the royal family and named it "Yuan Shengren Weitian Xuan". Become a god after Sanqing and the Jade Emperor. At the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, Judy was the prince of Yan, and then she went south to seize power, claiming that she was blessed by Zhenwu Emperor and seized the throne one by one. After Judy succeeded to the throne, she worshipped Zhenwu very much and called Zhenwu "the naive and mysterious god of the Arctic town". In addition to building Zhenwu Temple in Beijing, more than 200,000 troops were sent to build Wudang Mountain Palace Temple, which made the incense dedicated to Zhenwu reach its peak. Since then, temples dedicated to Zhenwu can be seen all over the country. There is no textual research on when the ancestral temple in Ding Dong was built. According to the author's interview with Liu Hongzhong, president of dengzhou city Taoist Association, Ding Dong was built in the Tang Dynasty (roughly the same as Wudang Mountain) and flourished in the Ming Dynasty. In the third year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Chang, the 22nd son of Zhu Yuanzhang, who claimed to be the King of Tang Ding in Nanyang, once supervised the construction of the "Changsheng Monument" in Dingdong, and it is conceivable that the scale was spectacular at that time. In the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, when Feng Yuxiang was running a school in Henan, Ding Dong was no exception and became a local primary school. During the Cultural Revolution, the "Four Old Houses" were broken and almost demolished. However, even during the Cultural Revolution, there were still many good men and women from remote rural areas who came to pray for visas, pray for blessings, and realize their dreams. There was also a Taoist priest who was a secular school and swept the tube to protect education.

After the reform and opening up from 65438 to 0978, incense gradually flourished after the policy of freedom of religious belief was re-implemented. 1993 was rebuilt with the approval of Dengzhou Municipal People's Government, which pushed the popularity of Ding Dong to an unprecedented height. According to the investigation, in recent years, every third day of the third lunar month is not only the birthday of Zhenwu God, but also the annual temple fair in Ding Dong, and countless believers from neighboring towns, counties and cities and even neighboring Hubei Province flock from all directions in the early morning. In Shandengzhou city, as early as the night before, there were many buses working overtime on the street, and many people had to go to Dongding to burn incense at midnight or early morning when the sun came out. In order to seek children, to get rid of diseases, to ensure peace, or to look forward to the future, more people are doing business and praying for wealth. Goulin Town is about five or six miles away from Ding Dong Ancestral Temple, but it is unknown whether cars can get in. All the cars are parked on the side of the road, and the parking lot is even more crowded. It's really crowded, crowded, with suona and firecrackers. Most people in the temple hold incense tables, some carry incense and cloth, some even carry offerings such as whole pigs and whole sheep, and even teams of suona drum music buildings come to make vows, rub their shoulders and wipe their ears, and then offer gifts and incense in front of statues such as the Jade Emperor, the Grandfather, the Zhenwu God, the Father and the Virgin Mary. The divination room is the most lively, drawing out the best signer, congratulating loudly, and can't help setting off firecrackers excitedly; Those who draw lots should go to the transfer hall on the right. Some people spit and cracked, so they couldn't help smoking another one. In the square outside the temple, several plays are often staged at the same time, usually from the first day to the fourth day. Those who make up before the performance should burn incense and kowtow to Zhenwu and other gods before the official performance. All kinds of trading markets are roughly divided into different areas, which spread along the hillside, and it is simply a sea of people, pushing and shoving. Mountain products, bamboo, clothing, cloth, household appliances, livestock, agricultural machinery, furniture and appliances, etc. , seems to have everything. Especially incense watches and snacks can be seen everywhere. There are also those who play circus, stilts, roller coasters and sedan chairs, those who do clay sculpture, embroidery and paper cutting, and those who shoot billiards, hoop, video games and air guns. This is a world of all beings, a sea of laughter. At noon, I don't know how many extra-large firecrackers exploded, the sound of guns soared into the sky, and the four fields sang together. The cannon in the middle broke out from time to time, and the sound was like thunder, which was earth-shattering and pushed people's emotions to a climax. All the people in the world, when the problem of survival is not solved, people are more afraid to eat raw food to fill their stomachs first. After all, "food is the most important thing for the people"! When the problem of survival no longer exists, people's spiritual pursuit seems to be naturally enriched. Although people who kowtow to Ding Dong may not have a deep understanding of the connotation of Taoism, it should be said that this belief or pursuit is still of some positive significance!

Ding Dong Ancestral Temple is a large-scale Taoist activity place in dengzhou city, but today's Ding Dong Ancestral Temple is backward in all aspects, and some facilities need to be rebuilt and improved urgently. In 2011-2015 years, in order to improve the popularity of Dengzhou, Ding Dong ancestral temple plans to strive for superior funds and self-raised funds, about100000 yuan, rebuild Jindian and Taoist Association, build parking lots, theaters and supporting facilities inside and outside, and build a Taoist cultural tourism center in southwest Henan.
