Berlin Marathon is an urban marathon held in Berlin, Germany on the last Sunday of September every year. The main event is the full marathon. As the largest marathon in Germany, it was held from 1974. It is both the IAAF (international association of athletics federations Association) gold standard event and the AIMS (International Marathon and Road Running Association) certified event.

It is also one of the six largest marathons in the world (the other five are Boston Marathon, New York Marathon, London Marathon, Chicago Marathon and Tokyo Marathon).

Berlin Marathon accepts professional athletes, amateurs, wheelchair athletes and roller skaters from all over the world. The official length of the track is 42.195km, and its track is called "the fastest track in the world".

The Berlin Marathon is divided into two days. On Saturday morning, a 500m 1000m "children's run" will be held. In the afternoon, mini marathon (4.2 195km) and roller skating will be held in the whole marathon track.

On the morning of the same day, nearly one-third of the marathon runners will take part in the "breakfast run", starting from Charlottenburg Palace and running all the way to Berlin Olympic Stadium, with a total distance of about 5 kilometers. The next afternoon, the wheelchair group, the hand-propelled bicycle group and the full marathon group set off one after another, and the end time of the full marathon was 6 hours 15 minutes.

1, semi-professional group

Players who qualify for the semi-professional group can get a place without drawing lots, and they need to meet certain standards in the marathon certified by IAAF or AIMS in the last two years:

Male under 45 years old, with a score of less than 245; Over 45 years old, with a score of less than 255.

Women under the age of 45, with a score of less than 300; Over 45 years old, less than 320 points.

Individual draw and team draw: individuals and teams can only choose one of them, but not both.
