On February 8, 2023, the press conference of the 2023 China-ASEAN Marathon held in Fangchenggang, Guangxi revealed that the 2023 China-ASEAN Marathon was held in Fangchenggang on February 24, 65438. The scale of this competition is 20,000 people, and there are three events: full marathon for men and women, half marathon for men and women, and 5 kilometers of happy running (including family running).
There are many awards in the competition, including Marathon Ranking Award, China Marathon Ranking Award, Citizen Group Marathon Ranking Award, Half Marathon Ranking Award, China Half Marathon Ranking Award, Citizen Group Half Marathon Ranking Award, and Special Award of ASEAN Member States. On the basis of retaining the previous seaview track, this year's track will add the stage of Guomen Avenue, which will connect the urban landscape, coastal scenery and border customs along the track in series to fully display the coastal characteristics of Fangchenggang.
Competition system setting
Among them, the whole marathon starts at Beibu Gulf Marine Culture Park, passes through Beibu Gulf Avenue, Xiwan Cross-sea Bridge and Guomen Avenue, and ends at Fangchenggang Sports Town in China. The half marathon starts and ends in Beibu Gulf Marine Culture Park, passing through major urban roads and scenic spots such as Beibu Gulf Avenue and fairy mountain Park. The 5-kilometer Happy Run starts from the Beibu Gulf Ocean Culture Park and passes through the main attractions of the city such as Xiwan Avenue and the Greenway around the Sea.
It is reported that the China-ASEAN Marathon is a large-scale sports brand event built by Fangchenggang. From 20 17 to 20 19, it has been successfully held for three times, and has successively won the honorary titles of the most beautiful track characteristic event, bronze medal event, silver medal event and gold medal event awarded by the Chinese Athletics Association. The upcoming events in 2023 are organized according to the specifications of IAAF brand events.
