Brazil is the only team in South America that has participated in previous FIFA Women's World Cups. Nevertheless, they didn't really leave their mark until 1999 World Cup in America. Brazil failed to qualify from the group in China 199 1 and Sweden 1995, but a strong storm blew in North America and finally won the third place.
Four years after this extraordinary feat, Brazil, with exciting talented teenagers Marta and Katia, failed to replicate the brilliance of 1999. They were eliminated by Sweden in the quarterfinals of the 2003 Women's World Cup in the United States. Although this result is disappointing, Brazil's talented new generation of stars still gives fans enough reason to celebrate. Later, they won the silver medal in the women's football competition at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games and the third place in the 2006 FIFA20 Under-20 World Youth Championship in Russia.
Brazil's strength should not be underestimated. Objectively speaking, it is the strongest in this group. However, China occupies a favorable climate, geographical location and human relations. I believe that the sonorous rose will carry forward the spirit of the old women's football team and beat the samba women's football team in one fell swoop.
