Why does the Premier League Cup adopt the single-game system? How is the home game decided?

The English League Cup is a knockout tournament sponsored by the English Football League at 196 1. The League Cup is only open to 92 clubs belonging to the Premier League and the English Football League (Championship, Team A and Team B), and the champion team can qualify for the UEFA Cup.

The League Cup will be played for 7 laps, each lap will be played in the form of elimination, until the semi-final will be played in the form of two rounds of host and guest, and the final will be played in the neutral stadium. If a single knockout draws within 90 minutes, it will be overtime. If it's still a tie, it's decided by punishing each other with penalties.

Teams will draw lots to decide their opponents and home and away games.
