Famous figures in Xiang' an District

The population of Xiang 'an District in ancient times was only about 50,000 to 60,000. It has always been prosperous and famous. Especially in the Qing dynasty, martial arts rose and celebrities came forth in large numbers, which made Tongan "the best martial arts, the most provincial", so Xiang' an was the best in the county. Lin Xiyuan (from Shantou), a famous official of Neo-Confucianism in southern Fujian in the Ming Dynasty, was a civil servant who raised Henglin (from Jingtou) in the five general towns of Guawu Jiangfu, Annanyi and Kangxi, and was the prefect of Fujian Navy (from Hou Bin), Cai Runze (from Punan), the governor of Nanyang (from Hou Bin) and assistant minister of Jiaqing Ministry of War (from Jingtou). Wei Guotai, deputy governor of Dongting (predecessor of Furnace), was born in Wu Jinshi, general manager of Tongshan Lin Wanchun (hilltop), high in Yazhou (Liuwudian), Zhoushan guerrilla Wang Tiangui (Liuwudian), Xianfeng Haitan guerrilla Chen (imperial concubine), Mongolian hero Ping Guan (inner official), Tongshan guerrilla Lin Zhuangkui and general Dashuzai. Daleng Town (now Daleng Island) is known as the three heroic islands in the artillery battle on August 24th. Hong and Hong Xiucong are famous militia heroes in China. They went down in history.
