2010 draft NBA draft rules

Before the introduction of lottery in the league, the team with the worst record can get the top draft, so many teams that can't make the playoffs deliberately staged the top draft at the end of the season. In order to alleviate this situation, the league began to introduce lottery tickets from 1985. The general process and principle are as follows:

1. Before the draw, the teams that didn't qualify for the playoffs had been ranked in reverse order according to the regular season record, and obtained the corresponding number of first prize combinations (probability). Among the teams participating in the lottery, the worst performance in the regular season was divided into 250 combinations, and the best was only 5 combinations. All teams got the combination of *** 1000.

2. In the lucky draw, the host will take out 1- 14 ping-pong balls and put them in a container, and randomly select 4 balls from 14 balls, regardless of numerical order. A * * can produce 100 1. If the number of selected combinations is exactly the abandoned combination of11-12-13-14, re-select.

3. After the draw for No.1 draft, four table tennis balls were put back into the container, and the ownership of No.2 and No.3 draft picks was decided again. After that, the remaining No.4-30 draft picks in the first and second rounds were decided in reverse order according to the results of the regular season. The buyout fee for international players is $500 thousand.
