Architectural model
At the beginning of the planning of the pure land garden of Tuolin Temple, the design was based on the controlled planning of natural landscape. The location of the core landscape Buddha, the direction of the central axis of the whole park, the scale of the main building and the facade of the building have basically maintained the original expected requirements of the controlled planning and design. The garden architecture adopts the classical spatial hierarchical layout of ancient mountain forest architecture in China, which makes the whole Lindong Pure Land Garden conform to the mountain trend.
The central axis is planned as Shanmen Temple, Sanmiao Temple, Daxiong Hall, Buddha Pagoda, Approach Bridge and Giant Buddha Pagoda, and it is carefully planned as seven garden areas, including Sanmiao Temple, Buddha Pagoda and Giant Buddha Pagoda. The space in the garden area is open and closed, which complement each other. In the meantime, the bell and drum tower, the climbing ladder and the service area are connected with each other, forming a patchwork and mutual echo of the whole space. The route of the ceremony was gentle and steep, and Hongqiao flew by, connecting with the mountain to the wide ceremony.
