Mount Tai covers an area of 426 square kilometers, runs through the central part of Shandong and extends between Tai 'an, Jinan and Zibo, also known as Daizong. Mount Tai rises in the eastern part of North China Plain and is located in Qilu Plain. From the unification of Qin Shihuang to the Qing Dynasty, thirteen monarchs personally climbed Mount Tai to worship Zen, and other historical records recorded that twenty-four monarchs sacrificed 72 times with their officials.
