The first round:
12 Asian teams with the lowest ranking in FIFA participated in the competition, and the six winning teams then participated in the second round of the top 40 with the top 34 teams in AFC.
The second round: 40 teams will be divided into 8 groups with 5 teams in each group. The competition starts from 2065438+September 2009. The draw for the top 40 teams will be held on July 17, and the seed teams will be determined according to the latest world rankings. The first place in seven groups (excluding Qatar, the host country) and the second place in five groups advanced to the third round 12 with the best results.
This 12 team will also win the right to participate in the 2023 Asian Cup finals. The Top 40 Asian Games will be held from September 5th, 20 19 to June 6th, 20021year.
