Xian Zhen Temple has a history of 1200 years. It is the ancient temple of Sihui in Guyi, which has been destroyed and repaired repeatedly in past dynasties. The present temple was rebuilt by Mr. Su, a fellow villager of Sihui, in Hong Kong in 65,438+0,982. There were two couplets in the early days of the temple, which are still left at the door and in the temple: "The wind guards bamboo and cypress, and the fairy fish lives in snails". "When hemp spinning, the ice surface is spotless; Fish and snails have been passed down through the ages, and the moon is the same as the moon. " In the mountain stream of Zhenshan, there is a fish called fried crucian carp. One side of crucian carp is fried brown, and the other side is like the color of ordinary crucian carp, commonly known as "fried crucian carp". There is a kind of stone snail that is tailless, commonly known as "Wudu Xianluo". According to legend, after the Virgin hid in the deep mountains, she never forgot the hard life of the children in the village, and always came back to fry fish and cook snails to satisfy her hunger. One day, those playboys went into the mountains in an attempt to commit violence. The virgin kicked the stone snail that had been cut and prepared for frying and the crucian carp that had just been fried into the mountain stream and severely reprimanded them: "I would rather die than come, don't insult me!" " Then climb the cliff by the pool and jump off the deep pool. When everyone was preparing to pick up Wengu's body in the pool, they suddenly heard Yue Xian singing in chorus. All the nuns floated in the clouds, lifted Wengu up and drifted west. In the mountain stream at the foot of Zhenshan, there is a fresh and delicious "Wudu Xianluo" and a strange fairy fish "Fried crucian carp", which is semi-brown for local people to eat.
At present, there are still many relics of Xian Zhen in Zhenshan Scenic Area, including Huixian Pavilion, which is built on the mountain with six columns and six corners and tuffaceous stone structure, surrounded by stone benches and chairs. It is novel and unique here, surrounded by green mountains and green waters, and it is refreshing to be in the cool mountain stream. According to legend, one day, Wen and the immortal He Xiangu met here, and suddenly it rained cats and dogs, drenching the two girls who were collecting herbs here like a drowned rat. So the incarnation of the writing style is the village girl, who took them to the rain pavilion to shelter from the rain. In an instant, the rain stopped, the pavilion disappeared and the village girl disappeared. Everyone in the village knew about Wen's appearance, and then she followed the girl who picked herbs.
Xian Zhen is very famous in the Pearl River Delta. For more than 1000 years, Xian Zhen Temple has been burning incense in the morning since the age of 18, and has made unremitting efforts to attract many good men and women to worship. In the early years of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty, Wen was honored as "Hui Ze" by the divine grace. Kang Youwei, the leader of the Reform Movement in the late Qing Dynasty, longed for the name of Sihui Citrus. At the beginning of February, 1893, 1893, he and several Liang Qichao's disciples took a ferry from Guangzhou to Xisha, Sihui, to taste citrus. After tasting citrus, Kang Youwei, Liang Qichao and others went into Zhenshan to pay homage to Xian Zhen Temple, where there may be gods to bless. The following year, Kang Youwei took part in the provincial examination and won the top prize. Taking Dimitak as a scholar, he initiated the Reform Movement of 1898 and became an influential figure in the modern history of China. Since then, a large number of students from Xijiang region have come to Xian Zhen Temple to burn incense and pray for blessings, so as to gain fame or good results.
