Asian World Cup qualifiers
The AFC Competition Committee held a meeting and formally decided on the competition scheme for the Asian regional qualifiers of the 20 10 World Cup in South Africa. In addition to the five teams from Australia, Japan, South Korea, Iran and Saudi Arabia participating in the German World Cup, 38 other teams, including China, must participate in the qualifiers. The qualifying schedule of the whole Asian region is divided into three stages, from the qualifiers to the group stage and then to the final top ten.
Of course, only 32 teams will enter the group stage:
Asia (4 branches): Australia, Japan, South Korea and North Korea.
Oceania (1): New Zealand
Europe (13 branch): Netherlands, Spain, Britain, Serbia, Italy, Denmark, Germany, Slovakia, Switzerland, Greece, Portugal, Slovenia and France.
Central America and North America (3 branches): Mexico, USA, Honduras.
South America (5): Brazil, Paraguay, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay.
Africa (6 offices): South Africa (host country), Ghana, C? te d 'Ivoire, Cameroon, Nigeria and Algeria.
