Postgraduate re-examination interviews generally have several examination forms.
Generally, it can be divided into individual interviews and group interviews. The advantage of a separate interview is that it can provide both sides with a face-to-face opportunity for in-depth communication. There are two types of personal interviews. First, there is only one examiner in charge of the whole interview process. Second, many examiners participated in the whole interview process, but only talked to one candidate at a time. The latter is widely used in college re-examination interviews, which helps to avoid one-sidedness of an examiner, but it puts great pressure on candidates. After all, a person has to face several academic experts. Group interview, also known as group interview, refers to the situation that many candidates face the examiner at the same time. In group interviews, candidates are usually asked to discuss in groups, cooperate with each other to solve a problem, or let the candidates take turns as leaders to preside over the meeting and deliver speeches. This interview method is mainly used to examine the candidate's interpersonal skills, insight, ability to grasp the environment and leadership. Many foreign business schools use this method for interviews. However, the main training goal of postgraduate education in China is academic talents, and the division of labor and cooperation or leadership ability are rarely taken as the examination content, so this way of discussion and interview is rarely used in domestic universities.
