Which country signed the Huangpu Treaty with China?

The Huangpu Treaty is the first unequal treaty between China and France. Namely the Sino-French five-port trade charter. After the Opium War, the French took advantage of the difficult situation of China's defeat and sent special envoy Lagrené to lead eight ships after Britain and the United States. 1844 and 13 arrived in yamen in August (June 30th, 24th year of Daoguang) to negotiate with the governors of Guangdong and Guangxi in Qing Dynasty. 10 year 10 on 24th October, both parties signed a contract on the French ship Ajimot anchored in Huangpu, Guangzhou, with 36 clauses attached to the customs tariff. France not only easily obtained all kinds of important rights such as five-port trade, agreed tariffs, consular jurisdiction and unilateral MFN treatment, but also seized some new privileges. For example, when the French rent a house or rent land to build their own house in five places, "there are many houses and lots, so there is no need to discuss immediate system." The treaty gives the French the right to build churches and cemeteries in the five ports, and stipulates that the China government should undertake the obligation of protection. After the treaty was signed, the French ambassador forced the Qing government to lift the ban on Catholicism. On February 28th (1 1 month19th), senior citizens announced the liberalization of Catholicism. On February 8 of the following year (the second day of the first month of the twenty-fifth year), Daoguang Emperor officially promulgated the relaxation of the ban.
