What's the difference between that and an instrument? A typical example is seeing a doctor. Western medicine sees a doctor in a stylized way: after prescription, blood test, urine test, etc. And then prescribe medicine, all kinds of instruments are indispensable in the process. Chinese medicine is mainly about "looking, smelling and asking", and there is no instrumental analysis. However, the conclusions drawn by Chinese and western medicine after diagnosis of patients are not the same, and the contents and index parameters drawn by western medicine are also different. The conclusion drawn by TCM is a vague concept. For example, Chinese medicine has a conclusion that "Yin deficiency dampness kidney". What is yin, what is deficiency, and to what extent is yin and deficiency? What's the percentage of each? These Chinese medicine practitioners can't quantify.
Anyone who knows the science of self-reproduction knows that any science has its premises. For example, Euclid's geometry is based on several axioms. These axioms need not be proved. If you don't believe in these axioms, you can't use such a subject at all.
What is the axiom or hypothesis of China Tao? I think the unity of heaven and man is one of the axioms. Throughout all aspects of China's ancient culture, almost all of them are permeated with the idea of harmony between man and nature. From the ancient structure of the Yellow Emperor's Ming Hall in Tianyuan, to the thought of heaven and earth in Feng Shui, to the thought that plum blossom is easy to combine with heaven, and then to the theory of heaven, earth and man in the eight-character numerology, all emphasize the unity of heaven and man.
One of the biggest differences between divination and scientific experiment is that the conclusion of divination is unrepeatable. This is especially true for the calculation methods of hexagrams such as plum blossoms. As long as the corresponding experimental conditions and operating procedures are strictly followed in scientific experiments, no matter who operates the experiment, the same results can be obtained (unless the experimenter makes mistakes and others make mistakes). In divination, besides the rehearsed divination, the time and environment of divination and even the feelings of the diviner must be considered.
The world described in Zhouyi is flexible and universal, and heaven, earth and man are highly integrated and closely related. I think of an approximate metaphor. Everything on the earth is like an ultra-sensitive wave source with a certain wavelength. Everyone fluctuates within a certain range, and each wave has its own wavelength, which interferes and diffracts each other. The whole world is the result of the comprehensive action of various waves. Changing one wave will inevitably have an impact on other waves, and this impact will be transmitted to each other.
Some people say that when calculating divination, people draw lots, write and count to predict good or bad luck. Isn't this a lot of randomness and contingency? I think, assuming that "nature" is also a human being, it will certainly laugh when it hears the word contingency. Give it a try, where is there no chance? Each of us compares our personal experiences and thinks. You know and choose your own marriage partner, or you have achieved your own career, or you have encountered some misfortune. In fact, many of them are caused by accidental factors. If we break up and regroup our original choices, we can form a variety of colorful life scenes, but in the end it can only be like this, and we will miss a lot and get a lot.
Divination is the same, not if (unless you are a writer and write a travel novel). Once a person has a mind, mathematics will exist in it. Once a person makes a choice and puts it into action, it is bound to be accompanied by good luck and regret. Chance contains necessity,
For example, if a friend's word count is realized, he will say that if I hadn't written this word at that time, wouldn't the result be different? However, since you have many choices, why do you let this word test instead of other words? It's also a chance for you to come up with this word. Similarly, if you use the same word to ask several people for divination, the result will not be the same, because basically, it is not in line with the principle of divination in Zhouyi that you ask for one thing many times (if you tell them at first and then blaspheme, then don't tell them).
