Huayang Temple is a cultural relic protection unit in Shaanxi Province.

Huayang Temple is Dongyue Temple, also known as Sheep Palace and Apocalypse Temple. Located in Huayang Meiyukou, Pangguang Town, southeast of Huxian County. Yuan dynasty was passed down as architecture. From the first year of Xuande in Ming Dynasty (1426) to Jingtai for two years (145 1), Jiajing for eleven years (1532), Qin Long for two years (1568) and Wanli for forty years (/kloc-).

Existing ancient buildings include: 1. The five halls are dedicated to Dongyue; 2. Five halls of King Kong; 3. Theater building; 4. Dongyue Temple Gate; 5. Bodhisattva Temple Gate; And three stone tablets (the story of restoring Dongyue Temple, the story of restoring Dongyue Temple in Huayang Valley, and the Mongolian tablet (moved to the cultural center). It is a provincial key cultural relics protection unit.

According to legend, Huayang Temple was built in Song Dynasty, and it was rebuilt seven times from the first year of Xuande in Ming Dynasty (1426) to the second year of Xuantong in Qing Dynasty (19 10). The original temple 130 is a relatively complete ancient architectural complex. There were more than 100 houses at the time of the founding of the People's Republic of China, which were later demolished one after another. The existing Dongyue Fairy Hall is the main building, retaining the architectural style of the Yuan Dynasty.

There is a plaque hanging in the middle of the quaint Huayang Temple entrance, which reads the praise of the Ming Dynasty scholar Wang: "My landscape is the best in the world." The couplets on both sides of the wooden plaque are: "At the foot of Mount Zhongnan, Yujian Temple respects Dongyue; There are stones that turn into sheep circulating in Huyang Valley. "

Go through the gate and come to a yard. Four cedars were planted in the yard. The East Wing is a hall of immortals, dedicated to 12 immortals such as Huangdi, Yan Di, Leizu, Fu, Sui Renshi, Shennong, Hou Ji, Luban and Cai Lun. The West Wing is the "Ten Halls of the Yan Army", dedicated to the Yan Army.

There is a Yuan Dynasty stone tablet in front of the temple, which is meters high. The upper part is in Mongolian and the lower part is in Chinese. In addition, Rebuilding the Monument of Dongyue Temple was published in Jingtai in the Ming Dynasty for three years. There is also the monument "Huayang Jade Completes Dongyue Temple".

The main hall of Dongyue, which was rebuilt in 1997, is the center of sacrificial activities in Huayang Temple. The King of Wu, whose splendid decorative paintings and murals have artistic appeal, penetrates time and space.

The east courtyard is at the bottom of the pit under the Dongtai steps of the temple. The East Row House here is the bedroom of Dongyue, dedicated to the Emperor and Empress of Dongyue. The main hall is the office and the bedroom is the palace. The house in the north row is the main hall for seeing off the empress dowager, and the two walls are painted with "Twenty-four Filial Pieties". South row houses are Wang Mu Palace and Fu Lushou Hall. Interestingly, in addition to Fu Lushou, this hall is also dedicated to the Monkey King.

Pangguang Street: Pangguang Street is located in the southeast of Huxian County 10 km, surrounded by Caotang Town, Residual Town and Qin Dou Town in the east, northeast and northwest respectively, bordered by Shijing Town in the southwest and Zhong Nanshan in the south. The No.7, No.8, No.7 and No.8 roads form a "well"-shaped skeleton in the town area, and Yufeng Road passes obliquely, which makes Xi 'an Mountain Tour Road pass along the mountain. The town is 6.3 kilometers long from north to south and 4 kilometers wide from east to west, with a total area of 35 square kilometers. Tourism Resources Pangguang Town has unique tourism resources, among which "Guifeng jathyapple" is one of the eight scenic spots in Huxian County.
