In order to ensure that KPL's competition is more exciting, bring better watching experience to users and improve the competitive level of all professional teams in KPL as a whole, the following competition system will be adopted in the 2065 438+08 KPL Spring Tournament:
The regular season will implement the home and away game system in the East and West Divisions.
The regular season starts every Friday (Wednesday to Sunday) 17:00;
Two games a day (one in Shanghai and one in Chengdu), from the original best of three games (BO3) to best of five games (BO5);
Teams in the East-West Division will meet twice, once at home and once away, and the home team has the priority to choose sides.
Only play against the team where the division is located once, and decide the priority of choosing sides by drawing lots before the game;
In the end, the top four teams in the East-West Division advanced to the playoffs, and the fifth and sixth teams in each division fell into relegation competition.
The relegation tournament adopts the double-loss elimination system, and each game adopts the best-of-seven system (BO7);
The first game: the fifth in the west vs the fifth in the east (winner group), the winner successfully relegated to KPL autumn tournament 2018;
The second game: the sixth in the west vs the sixth in the east (loser group), the loser was eliminated;
Game 3: The winner of the second game competes with the loser of the first game for the last relegation place. The winner was successfully relegated and advanced to KPL Autumn Tournament on 20 18, while the loser was eliminated.

In the playoffs, the East-West Division held a double-loss knockout match to decide the champion of the East-West Division and finally compete for the championship;
The first and second players in each division will advance to the winner group, and the third and fourth players will enter the loser group. In the end, the East and the West will compete for the East/West Championship respectively, advance to the finals on behalf of their respective divisions, and compete for the KPL championship.
In the playoffs and finals, each game is based on the best of seven games (BO7), and the sides are selected according to the regular season ranking (priority of side selection: draw lots for the winning and losing relationship of regular season ranking points).
