How to improve the language expression ability of rural children?
Several ways to cultivate rural students' language expression ability: oral ability is a language ability that people must have. With the progress of society and the development of science and culture, there are more and more multi-level and multi-field contacts between people, and good language expression ability has become a necessary ability for students. The society needs an orator who is "one person's argument is more important than Jiuding's treasure, and is better than a million teachers", and those who are "eloquent and prevaricated" can no longer adapt to the rhythm of modern life. Taking rural students as an example, due to the limitation of living environment and teaching conditions, coupled with insufficient attention, students have many problems in language expression: poor vocabulary, misuse and abuse, mixed dialects, poor word order, scratching their heads, picking their noses and touching their hands ... These seemingly insignificant problems will have a certain adverse impact on students' intellectual development and mental health. From this point of view, with the continuous advancement of rural urbanization, it is more and more important to cultivate students' good language expression ability. In view of the present situation of rural middle schools, I have focused on the following aspects and achieved good results: 1. Understand the importance of language expression and cultivate interest in speaking. Carnegie said in The Secrets of Eloquence Training: "A person's chances of success in his career depend on 65,438+05% technical knowledge and 85% ergonomics-personality and leadership. The latter is mainly manifested in his ability to express ideas and inspire others' enthusiasm. "This fully affirms that language expression ability is an invaluable treasure to improve quality, develop potential and become a pioneer talent. China has a long history and splendid culture. Countless people in history have made great achievements by virtue of superb language art: Tang Ju lived up to his mission, stopped Chu from attacking Song, touched the dragon and said that Zhao retired from Qin, and Zhuge Liang discussed Taoism with Confucianism. With the development of the times, more and more people use language to exchange information and express ideas. The wide application of recording equipment, visual equipment, fixed and mobile phones, computer networks, the report and command of many emergencies, and the statements during recruitment, etc. All show that only by improving the ability of language expression can we adapt to the development of society. In the classroom, we must instill these importance and urgency into students, so that students can have a full understanding, thus stimulating the potential of students' language expression. Among rural students, it is not surprising that my students raise their hands when answering questions. Their inner world has gradually become more complicated, and their desire for ideological independence has become stronger and stronger. More often, they are unwilling to open their hearts easily. They try their best to show their "achievements" to others, but they are afraid of being laughed at by others when answering questions, especially rural children. This is more prominent psychologically. The more I dare not say it, the less I will say it. Often the written test scores are not bad, and communication skills are very low. Therefore, in the teaching process, I first try my best to create a democratic and equal classroom atmosphere, enthusiastically encourage, listen carefully and respect students' answers, and put forward five permissions to students: allowing mistakes, allowing traps, allowing arguments, allowing doubts and allowing creation. Secondly, stimulate students' desire to speak through the design of questions, and the design of questions should find the "blasting point" of thinking from textbooks and students' understanding. For example, I designed a topic "Jia Baoyu in your eyes" in the teaching of "Lin Daiyu enters Jia Fu"; "The Man in the Condom" designed "Is there a condom in our life?" These problems will cause students to think positively and argue enthusiastically, and psychologically dilute the obstacle of "sorry". Third, it is important to keep training yourself. Therefore, we should not only prepare lessons before class, but also prepare speeches. In the classroom, teachers use accurate words, are clear-cut, humorous, instructive and full of emotion, so that students can realize the richness and wonder of language from the teacher's speech, so that students can be infected and edified in a subtle way and gradually evolve into their own speaking ability. Second, combine learning practice, cultivate speaking ability in many ways and make full use of teaching materials. Most of the articles in the textbook are model essays with both literary quality and beauty, through the "externalization" process from reading to speaking. Can set an example for students. In order to effectively improve the language expression ability of rural students, in the teaching process, I try to increase diversified and rich reading training forms, such as question and answer, recitation, recitation and discussion. Q&A is one of the most common ways to practice oral English. In order to stimulate students' interest in answering questions, I carefully designed some questions before class. These questions should not be too superficial, causing students to disdain to answer, nor should they be obscure, resulting in an unanswerable situation. However, it should be moderately difficult and enlightening, which can not only guide students to analyze and judge a certain problem for a long time, but also can not cultivate the kind of general and inert thinking that answers correctly and wrongly. When commenting on lectures, we should not only evaluate right and wrong, but also evaluate the methods and skills of expression, so that students can constantly master the ability of analysis, judgment and expression. Repeated reading and reciting can not only make students read for a hundred times, but also enrich their vocabulary, enhance their sense of language and learn a variety of sentence patterns, thus enriching their own language and forming good speaking habits. When reading, stimulate reading interest through various forms such as catching up, finding fault, and dividing roles; When reciting, students can be asked to reproduce the "artistic conception" of the poem in their minds, deeply understand the author's thoughts and feelings at that time, and let students read back their own words closer to achieve the effect of killing two birds with one stone. Retelling the content of the text is a good way to transition from reading to speaking, reducing students' dependence on the original text and using the original text to process and create. In teaching, besides expounding and summarizing, creative retelling can also be adopted, that is, adjusting the content and form of the original text. For example, in "Blessing", I designed to retell the text with the title of "Sister Xianglin's self-report"; Border Town retells the text with the theme of "Grandpa's Heart" and "Cui Cui's Voice", which greatly stimulates students' interest in speaking. You can also supplement the content of the text through imagination and association. Discussion is a form in which teachers put forward specific topics, students express their opinions and opinions in groups, and then summarize and report. For example, in the study of "The Hongmen Banquet", I designed "Some people think that there is a woman's benevolence in Xiang Yu's character; Some people think that Xiang Yu has a' gentleman's degree'. What do you think? " In the discussion of the theme, many students participated, and there were many opportunities to speak, and their enthusiasm was also improved. Third, combine the reality of life, temper their language skills. It should be said that there is still a lot of room for practicing oral English in life. Such an environment not only provides rich content for oral practice, but also improves the purpose and occasion of speaking. Regular training in such an environment can not only improve students' interest in oral practice, but also highlight the sociality of students' oral ability. This is also in line with the purpose of the new curriculum standard for students' training. If there is a theme dialogue, storytelling, impromptu speech, etc. Dongshan is a famous historical and cultural town with rich resources of cultural products. In recent years, more and more people come to Dongshan to travel. I ask students to collect information about cultural relics, historical celebrities, folk customs and Taihu specialties in their hometown, rearrange their languages, set up a student tour guide service team, and introduce the local customs of their hometown to tourists. This thematic dialogue can not only cultivate students' feelings of loving their hometown, but also help to improve their language expression. Storage is to digest and understand the original materials obtained through watching, listening and reading, and express them in their own language, which is conducive to giving play to students' creativity. In rural areas, people's knowledge level is low, and some parents have never graduated from junior high school. How to explain good articles, movies and plays to these people obviously needs to adjust the order, supplement details, change the name and strengthen colloquialism. For example, after studying Pu Songling's "Promoting Weaving", students are asked to go home and tell their parents the story of becoming famous, and how to deal with the language so that parents can understand it. This is conducive to giving full play to students' creativity in speaking and is an effective form to cultivate students' long-winded ability. Improvised speeches are not impromptu comments. It requires students to organize the center and main points of the speech in a short time. For example, at a friend's birthday party, organizing a speech about the purpose and significance of the party is more difficult than the prepared speech, but it can test a person's speech level better. There are "some questions, bookmarks, storage containers and ten signs after meals every day to talk about thinking and make it coherent" in The Method of Teaching Children written by Wang Yun, a scholar in Qing Dynasty. Grasping the composition can spare no effort. " This method of drawing lots to practice oral English is very effective and can be recommended to students. The Chinese curriculum standard clearly points out: "Make students have basic oral communication ability, learn to listen, express and communicate in various communication activities, initially learn to conduct interpersonal and social communication in a civilized way, and develop the spirit of cooperation." This incisive exposition embodies an important aspect of the transition from exam-oriented education to quality education, and it is also one of the main goals of Chinese curriculum. There are many ways to improve students' oral communicative competence. As long as we carefully analyze the current situation of students, fully tap teaching resources, constantly sum up teaching methods, actively encourage every student, give them more hope and give them more opportunities for success and joy, students will certainly make great progress in this respect.
