Rules of 2023 Table Tennis Mixed Team World Cup
Chengdu Mixed Team World Cup will be divided into two stages. In the first stage, the 18 team was divided into four groups and played in the form of round robin. The top two in each group entered the second round robin. In the second stage, eight teams will play round robin again, and the teams that played in the first stage will avoid it, but they will still adopt the results of the first stage. In the end, the team with the first round robin score in the second stage will become the champion of the first mixed team World Cup in Chengdu.
Each team will consist of 3-4 men and 4 women. The competition order is mixed doubles, women's singles, men's singles, women's doubles and men's doubles. The order of the last two doubles will be decided by the captain of the lower ranked team before the game. Each game adopts the 8-win system of 15 games, in which each single game adopts the 3-win system, and the party that wins 8 games first wins.
