Golden Horse Award Selection Rules
The Golden Horse Award is a film award held by the Executive Committee of Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival of China Taiwan Province Film Development Foundation in Taiwan Province Province, China. Established in 1962. Together with Chinese Golden Rooster Award and Hong Kong Film Awards, it is also called "Three Chinese Film Awards".
The Golden Horse Award accepts applications for Chinese films from all over the world and awards 23 awards each time. A jury composed of professionals voted for the winner after watching all the films and discussing them. In addition to the official awards, there are two side awards, the best film voted by the audience and the Fabriz Award of international film critics. Lifetime achievement award or special contribution award is recommended by the film industry (company) and decided by the Executive Committee.
