Bi Xia Yuan Jun's former residence was first built in northern Song Zhenzong, with a history and culture of nearly a thousand years. Located in huayuan town, Laoling City, a famous historical and cultural town in Shandong Province, 20 kilometers away from the urban area.
Bi Xia Yuan Jun's former residence was named after Bi Xia Yuan Jun. He lived here and built the palace of the Queen Mother to help the world and save people. Emperors and generals of past dynasties, literati and literati, rushed to pay homage. According to legend, Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty visited Jiangnan three times and passed by here. The gold plaque that once said "the land of grandma Taishan" stood next to the temple. After several generations of wars and disputes, the original one no longer exists, only the plaque base is mottled and incomplete. However, the pictographic totem patterns carved on the stone foundation are smooth and meticulous, and they are still from the hands of highly skilled celebrities. During the reconstruction of the former residence, a large number of ancient bluestone bricks and pottery pots were excavated. Jiang Zilong, a famous contemporary writer, said after hearing the opening ceremony of Xia Yuan Jun's former residence, "This can be called the essence of Leling culture".
In April 2006, Bi Xia Yuan Jun's former residence was newly built in Wangmudian Village, the former site of Bi Xia Temple. The whole building complex covers an area of 100 mu, with a construction area of 6600 square meters. There are attractions such as Longteng Archway, Shi Sheng Square, Bi Xia Temple and Wang Mu Temple, which form two main halls (Bi Xia Temple and Wang Mu Temple), six partial halls (Car Hall, Door Hall, Guanyin Hall, Fortune Temple, Wangyao Hall and Wenchang Hall) and a pavilion (transshipment).
In 2008, Bi Xia Yuan Jun's former residence was rated as a national AA-level tourist attraction, and was promoted to a national AAA-level tourist attraction on 20 12.
