What story is Xiahedong telling?

The play tells the story of being besieged in Hedong by the separatist regime of Liu Jun in the early Northern Song Dynasty.

Xiahedong is a drama that describes the historical background of the early Northern Song Dynasty, and mainly tells the story of Zhao Kuangyin and Huyanshou Pavilion.

Hu Yanshou Pavilion bravely created the enemy ahead in the battle, only to find that Ouyang Fang, the commander, had an affair with the enemy, betrayed Hu Yanshou Pavilion and covered his mouth, resulting in Zhao Kuangyin being trapped in Hedong. Finally, Huyan Zan, the son of Hu Yanshou, defeated Liu Jun with a whip to avenge his father.
