16 Chopin International Piano Competition in Poland

◆ Competition program
DVD primary election
1. A jury composed of Polish musicians will review the application materials and select 160 people to enter the preliminary competition.
2. The shortlist will be notified on March 1 2065438.
Players who are not selected in the preliminary round will get a refund of the registration fee, excluding the bank transfer fee.

1. The judges of the preliminary competition are composed of Polish and foreign musicians.
2. The organizing committee will inform the contestants of the specific date and time of the competition on March 10, 2065438.
The winner must arrive in Warsaw at least two days before the competition and register.
All the preliminaries are open to the public.
5. After the competition, 80 people were selected for the official competition, and the list will be announced on 20 10.

◆ Competition rules
1. All the competition tracks must be played by rote.
All versions of Chopin's works were accepted, and the organizing committee recommended the national version of Fryderyk's Chopin's works, Urtext(ed. Professor Jan Ecker).
2. Participants need to indicate the version of Chopin's works and the playing time of each song.
3. Players can only modify the track of the official competition before 20 10.

First prize: 30,000 euros and gold medal.
Second prize: 25,000 euros, silver medal.
Third prize: 20,000 euros, bronze medal.
Fourth prize: 15000 euros
Fifth prize: 10000 euros

◆ Transportation and accommodation
1. The contestants who enter the primary election will be transported at their own expense and stay in Warsaw.
2. Players who enter the official competition in Warsaw will get round-trip air tickets and free accommodation provided by the organizing committee until they are eliminated.
◆ Practice
1. The organizing committee provides training equipment for the primary and official competitions.
The finalists will rehearse with the symphony orchestra.
◆ Appearance order

2. Due to organizational reasons or repertoire reasons, the organizing committee has the right to change the order of appearance. After obtaining the doctor's permission, the sick player can enter the competition at the end.
