Emperor Qianlong not only didn't kill him, but also entrusted him with an important task.

First of all, the spring breeze is proud.

The man's name is Li Shiyao and Zhai Qin, and he is from Huangqi of the Han army. Li Shiyao was born in a very prominent family, and his fourth ancestor was Li Yongfang, a guerrilla general of the Ming Dynasty. After Nurhachi rose up against the Ming Dynasty, Li Yongfang, who was guarding Fushun, became the first general in the Ming Dynasty to surrender to the late Jin Dynasty, so he was highly valued and married Nurhachi's granddaughter. With this special relationship, Li Yongfang's descendants were naturally reused in the Qing Dynasty. For example, Li is an official housing minister.

The son of Li, who entered the officialdom in the early years of Qianlong, was appointed as the printing saint. Appreciated by Emperor Qianlong, the official position rose rapidly. "I am tired of moving to Zheng Lanqi, the deputy governor of the Han army." In the 24th year of Qianlong (1759), Li Shiyao was appointed as the governor of Guangdong and Guangxi, and became an official of the Qing government. Later, Li Shiyao served as governor of Huguang, minister of the Ministry of Commerce, and also inherited the title of second-class Zhao Xinbo.

Second, corrupt officials have fallen.

In the forty-second year of Qianlong (1777), the governor of Yunnan and Guizhou, Tuside, played "Myanmar surrendered to the imperial court and asked for tribute". Emperor Qianlong attached great importance to this matter, put A Gui, a university student, in charge of this matter, and transferred Li Shiyao to serve as the governor of Yunnan and Guizhou, sitting in the southwest frontier. Although Li Shiyao was born in a prominent family, he was very greedy and took bribes during his tenure in Yunnan. Forty-five years after Qianlong (1780), Haining, a grain storage road in Yunnan, wrote to expose Li Shiyao's bribery.

Emperor Qianlong attached great importance to this matter and immediately made a decision to send someone to Yunnan for investigation. Xiao Shenyang is in charge of this matter! After some interrogation, Li Shiyao quickly admitted his crime, and "I had to pay bribes to the government below". After that, Li Shiyao was arrested in Beijing, and Xiao Shenyang "waited for the execution of the plan and took the title to give his brother Yao Feng". After careful consideration, college students and Jiuqing think they should make a decision. Emperor Qianlong didn't want to kill Li Shiyao, so he asked the provincial governors to discuss it.

Third, be reused again.

Min, the governor of Jiangsu Province, saw the mind of Emperor Qianlong and put forward "please take the theory of diligence as an example to broaden your practice". Therefore, Emperor Qianlong issued an edict that "the crime is too light, so I don't take it seriously", and changed Li Shiyao to beheading and waited in prison. A year later, there was a rebellion in the northwest, and Emperor Qianlong sent a Gui to counter it. At the same time, he awarded Li Shiyao a top hat and peacock feathers to "run the army in Gansu". Soon, Li Shiyao became the governor of Shaanxi but Gansu, but was impeached by Fu Kang 'an, and Emperor Qianlong pardoned him again.

In the fifty-second year of Qianlong (1787), a forest uprising broke out in Taiwan Province province, and Emperor Qianlong was appointed as the governor of Fujian and Zhejiang to cooperate with Fu Kang 'an Ping's rebellion. In the second year, after the rebellion was put down, Emperor Qianlong restored the title of Li Shiyao, and made a decree to "build Fu Kangan and other temples in Taiwan Province and order Shi Yao to live in Fu Kangan and Hailancha". In the same year, Li Shiyao died of illness. Li Shiyao tried many times to "take bribes and bend the law", but under the protection of Emperor Qianlong, he finally died a fair death.
