Every year consists of spring and summer competitions, and each season is divided into two parts: regular season and playoffs.
The League of Legends Professional League Championship in Spring will represent LPL Division to participate in League of Legends mid-season championship in May each year. The winner of the summer competition will be directly sent to the League of Legends Global Finals as the No.1 seed in LPL Division. The team with the highest score in the whole year will be promoted to the Global Finals as the No.2 seed, and the four teams with the highest score lower than the ranking will qualify for the preliminaries. The winning team will get the final tickets for the global finals as the No.3 seed and No.4 seed.
