Legends and stories about the fairy tower

There are many beautiful myths and touching legends in this magical land of Xiliwa Township. The legendary fairy pagoda is only one of nine, Mao.

In the third year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty, on a crisp autumn morning, two Taoist priests, an old man and a young man, went out to travel around and went down the Kongtong Mountain along the winding path. I saw Master wearing a yellow robe, walking in front with a mirror shovel, followed by a teenager in Tsing Yi, carrying a simple bag. They are masters and apprentices, self-serious, youthful, and a group of wise and calm wise men; Daotong's face is childish, but it shows a shrewd and capable bearing.

This old Taoist priest is none other than Li Zhenren, a native of Shanxi, and a Taoist patriarch. Li Zhenren became a monk in Kongtong Mountain when he was young. After several trips to China's famous mountains and rivers, places of interest and historical sites, he has traveled all over the Central Plains, Jingchu, Xiaoxiang and Longyou.

They traveled all the way, giving alms and accumulating good karma. Seeing the scenery along the way is very comfortable and uncomfortable. One day later, when they walked out of the majestic and beautiful Guanshan Mountain, they came to Qingshuihe, the hometown of Fuxi Nuwa, the ancestor of mankind. The scenery here is beautiful and the folk customs are simple. Attracted by the beautiful scenery, I naturally stayed for a few more days. During this period, Master caught a cold and was in poor health, so he had to stay in Liancheng for a few more days, but his minor illness never recovered.

Helpless, on this day, the master said in a hoarse voice, "disciple, let's hurry." If we delay like this, I don't know when we can get up. "

The disciple said with a sad face, "Master, you'd better wait until your body recovers, or you will be crushed by the hardships of the journey."

But the host insisted on staying no longer. The apprentice had to do as he was told. Considering Master's frail old age and poor health, he secretly hired a donkey all night and prepared to make a mount for Master tomorrow.

The monk was merciful, and the next day Master could not bear to ride a donkey. The disciples and the owner of the donkey tried to persuade them, but in vain. So at first they had to follow the donkey. But then master was too tired to walk, so he had to stop and have a rest in the shade.

After comforting each other, they got up and set off, and then helped the master onto the donkey's back. Master rode a donkey, which obviously accelerated the speed of travel. They hobbled along the ridges and ravines on the yellow soil on the mountain road.

On July 25th, the ancient calendar, when I walked to a place more than ten miles north of Lin Qin County, the master always felt that this place was familiar, and the feeling of deja vu made him linger. Just ask the villagers, what is this place?

The other party said, "This place is called' backflow ditch'. Legend has it that when Confucius traveled around the world, he passed by and met a child playing with stones on the way. A city with criss-crossing streets and alleys made of mud and stone lies in the middle of the road, blocking the way. Kong Qiu said, "Please move your city, son, so that I can walk there." The clever boy plausibly said,' There are only people walking around the city in the world, so there is no city to make way for people?' This is a well-informed Confucius who is speechless. In fact, the city is really making way for people. Confucius thought, in this desolate Shan Ye with deep ditches and steep slopes and no villages, where can such a clever child come from? I'm afraid the man of God is enlightening himself. Confucius is, after all, an unparalleled wise man. Thinking of this, he turned back to his footsteps ... Later, the name' Daohui Building' has been handed down and is still in use today. "
