How about the Big Buddha Temple? Is it worth going?

The Great Buddha Temple is located in Dongmenli Street, Zhengding County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, and it is worth visiting. It is an AAAA-level tourist attraction in China, one of the first batch of key cultural relics protection units in China, and one of the top ten famous temples in China.

After thousands of years, the Great Buddha Temple witnessed the development and changes of Buddhist culture in northern China from the Tang and Song Dynasties to the Republic of China. Longxing temple is one of the temples with the largest number of buildings, statues and stone carvings in the Song Dynasty.

Formerly known as Longzang Temple, it was longxing temple in the Tang Dynasty and renamed longxing temple in the Qing Dynasty, and it has been in use ever since. In the second year of Kaibao in the Northern Song Dynasty (969), Zhao Kuangyin, Song Taizu, ordered the temple to be rebuilt, using 3,000 military craftsmen, which was a huge project. Hundreds of years later, there was no destructive damage. After the overhaul of the Qing Dynasty and the Long Dynasty, the basic pattern and architecture have been preserved to this day.

The temple building is deep in the north and south, and the southern end of the central axis is a tall glass wall. From the third single-hole stone bridge to the north, there are more than a dozen temples, such as Tianwang Temple, Dajue Sixth Division Temple (ruins), Mani Palace, Pailou Gate, Tan Jie, Cishi Pavilion, Runwheel Tibetan Pavilion, Compassion Pavilion, Imperial Book Building, Qing Ji Pavilion, Tomi Hall, Pilu Hall and Longquan Jingting Pavilion, with clear priorities and scattered heights.
