Why do international students who get green cards return to China?

Take American students as an example:

Actually, I don't want to leave, but I really want to stay. Studying in the United States was once the dream of many international students. However, the H 1B (work visa) lottery policy, which is getting harder every year, has shattered many people's American dream. The latest statistics show that in fiscal year 20 16, the hit rate of foreign students H 1B in the lottery was only 36%, and the hit rate of undergraduate degree even fell below one third. Only two years ago, these two figures were still above 50%.

With more and more people drawing lots, it is naturally more difficult to study in the United States. Even China students who graduated from famous American universities such as the University of Southern California and UCLA have to face the embarrassment of not going home after winning the lottery.

In addition to those who are bent on staying in the United States, more and more international students choose to return to China directly after graduation in the past two years. In America, we are always in the minority, and it is very difficult to enter the mainstream society. Now the domestic film market is very hot, and I think there is more room to go back.

For most international students, the attraction brought by the continuous improvement of the domestic employment environment is also rising. In addition, a person's hardships and loneliness also make some people choose to return to their families. Most of our generation are only children, and their parents are still working. I think it's too expensive to be apart for a long time.

It is sometimes unwise to stay in America for the sake of staying in America. Objectively speaking, China has more room for development than the United States. Of course, returning to China is no different from staying in the United States. Finding the right path is the most important thing.
