How to apply for a tour guide card

"People's Republic of China (PRC) Tour Guide Qualification Certificate" is registered from August to the end of September every year. Registration is mainly the responsibility of tourism bureaus at all levels. When registering, you should bring three one-inch color photos, the registration fee (taking Gansu Province as an example, the registration fee is 250 yuan), and the original and photocopy of the certificate of high school education or above. The requirements are good health and good looks. Tourism colleges and tourism departments of colleges and universities can bring registration, and the deadline for registration is earlier than that of the Tourism Bureau. The deadline for the Provincial Tourism Bureau is the final deadline for the registration of the provincial tour guide examination.

The tourist guide card examination is held at the end of June+065438+early February 65438 every year. The content of the examination mainly comes from four books: Tour Guide Business, Tour Guide Basis, Tour Guide Professional Ethics and Laws and Regulations, and Tour Guide. Some people say that there are five books, but one is actually a workbook type. You don't need training before the exam, you can watch it yourself. Now, some provinces have to train and then issue certificates if they want to get a certificate after the exam. I don't recommend training before the exam, it's useless. The written test paper of a foreign language tour guide is the same as that of a Mandarin tour guide, except that the interview is an oral foreign language interview. The pass rate in Gansu province is 30%, which varies from province to province, including the requirements for passing the grades in various subjects and so on. The written test will be finished in one day, and there is still a big paper. Interviews are all about assigning scenic spots. Each province has different scenic spots, and there are 25 in Gansu. As for which scenic spot to interview, you have to draw lots yourself.

Interview signs are packed in unsealed envelopes, with one sign for each envelope and two scenic spots for each sign. You can choose either of these two scenic spots to explain to the tour guide. If you really think about it, even if you don't memorize all the scenic spots, you should at least have a good look, at least memorize about 8 scenic spots.
