A match is a hole, and the winner is the person who finishes the hole with less strokes. The winner of the match is decided by each hole.
2 stroke play.
The winner is the player who has played the prescribed round or rounds with the least number of strokes. Stroke play is used in both international and domestic competitions.
The rules of the game are formulated by the golf association and the organizers of each game. In fact, the rules of the competition are mainly implemented by the contestants themselves. In other words, participants should consciously abide by the rules and make self-judgment on the basis of the spirit of fair competition.
① Polite norms
Pay attention to safety when swinging and playing ball to prevent injury accidents.
It doesn't affect others' playing, and it doesn't waste time.
The group that walks too slowly, let the latter group surpass it.
After the stroke, the court should carefully repair it.
② serving rules

Ball out of bounds: The first shot is out of bounds. You can make up after everyone has finished, but it's the third shot.
Serve and release: When serving, the ball must be placed on the tee in the service area.
③ fairway rules
Hitting order: the player farther from the hole hits first.
Mishit: Hit someone else's ball by mistake, and get two penalty shots.

④ Obstacle zone rules

Before engaging in any sport, you must know the basic rules of the sport in order to have fun and avoid being laughed at. Golf competition emphasizes the display of gentlemanly demeanor, and the understanding of basic rules cannot be taken lightly. Therefore, first of all, the basic rules of golf, the difference between stroke play and match-playing, the judgment and treatment of various hitting situations, and the matters needing attention in the competition are explained.
First, the basic rules of golf
Basic rules Although there are many rules in golf, the most basic ones are the following two points:
1. Participants must play on fair terms.
You must be able to handle the favorable situation in the competition objectively.
As for other rules, they are based on the above two basic principles.
Obey the rules and start from yourself. Although rules of golf is formulated by the Golf Association, most of the rules are still managed by the players themselves. When the game is in progress, every player has the responsibility to make the game fair and just; And based on the spirit of fair competition, every choice should require itself to be a referee who abides by the rules.
Hit the ball into the hole by hitting the ball. The most basic principle of golf is to hit the ball continuously from the table until the ball enters the hole. In short, there is no other way to start with the first shot, then hit the ball repeatedly and hit the ball into the hole. It is against the rules to move with the ball, or to throw and roll the ground.
Don't continue the game until the ball is at rest. When the ball is hit, no matter what state it is in, you should wait until the ball is at rest before continuing the game. This is the unchangeable law of golf. Never touch or move the position of the ball, nor change the surrounding environment for the convenience of swinging.
Second, batting and competition.
There are two forms of golf competition: stroke play and competition. Stroke play is very common in both professional and amateur competitions. The so-called stroke play is to add up the batting number of each hole, and after playing a game (18 hole), add up all the batting numbers, and judge the outcome by the total batting number. The match is also based on the number of strokes, but the difference is that the number of strokes per hole determines the outcome of the hole, and then the cumulative number of winning and losing holes determines the score of each game.
Stroke play stipulates that the ball must be hit into the hole before it can move to the tee of the next hole. The game is decided on every hole. As long as the opponent agrees, there is no need to adhere to the principle that all balls need to go into the hole.
The penalty of stroke play and Bitong match is different, and the penalty of foul is also different. Generally speaking, stroke play's penalty is two strokes, and stroke play's penalty is to punish him for losing the hole.
Third, correct judgment and handling.
Out-of-bounds (OB) "Out-of-bounds" is an area where competitions are prohibited, usually marked with boundary posts or fences. The boundary outside the boundary shall be determined by boundary markers (excluding supports) or the point closest to the ground in the fence. For example, when marking out of bounds on the ground, the boundary line extends vertically up and down, and the line itself is regarded as out of bounds.
Losing the ball can be regarded as "losing the ball" under the following circumstances:
1. The player, his team or their brother still can't find the ball five minutes after starting to look for it; Or although it is found, the player can't identify whether it is his own ball;
2. The player used another ball as a match ball according to the rules, but did not look for its original ball;
3. The player clicks the replacement ball from the original position or the hole closer to the original position, so the replacement ball becomes the game ball.
The original ball may be lost, out of bounds and replaced by a ball outside the water obstacle, which is called a "replacement ball"
Water obstacle (including lateral water obstacle) "Water obstacle" refers to any sea, lake, pond, river, ditch, surface drainage ditch or other open-air channel (whether there is water or not) and other similar ones.
If land or water is within the boundary of the water barrier, the land belongs to a part of the water barrier. The boundary of the water barrier extends vertically upward, and the boundary markers and landmarks used to mark the boundary are counted as obstacles.
Water obstacles (except side water obstacles) should be marked with yellow boundary markers or markings; The lateral water barrier is defined by red boundary signs or marks.
Note: The ponds and pools of Taifeng Stadium are defined by the rules of edge water obstacle and red boundary markers.
It is a matter of fact whether the ball hitting the water obstacle is lost inside or outside the obstacle. If it is considered to be lost in an obstacle, there must be evidence that the ball did fall into the obstacle; If there is no definite evidence, it should be regarded as losing the ball and handled according to the rules.
If the ball falls, touches or is lost in a water hazard (whether the ball is in the water or not), the player will be fined one stroke and will be dealt with as follows:
1. Play the next stroke as close as possible to the original position of the previous stroke.
2. Throw the ball behind the water obstacle at the point where the original ball finally passes through the edge of the water obstacle and the straight line between the balls. The distance between the ball and the water obstacle is not limited.
3. When the ball falls, touches or gets lost in the side water obstacle, you can choose the following special measures:
(1) obstacle, away from the edge of the water obstacle through which the original ball finally passes;
(2) or the edge of the water barrier on the other side at the same distance from the hole;
Throw the ball within the length of two bats. The ball will fall and stop at a place no closer to the hole than the edge where the original ball finally passes through the water obstacle. According to the rules, the ball should not be wiped.
Fourth, matters needing attention in the competition
It is forbidden to be late for golf. The biggest taboo is being late. If you are late for a game with your friends, you will be listed as the least popular golfer; If you are late for the official competition, you will be punished or disqualified.
Penalties for being late can be divided into two types according to the competition form; Stroke play, the latecomers will be fined two shots; In the competition, the first hole was lost. It can be seen that being late for the game is a great shame for the contestants and should be avoided as much as possible.
Know the game in advance. Each contestant must know the competition conditions set by the stadium before the competition:
1. The correct time of the game;
2. Arrangement of members of each group;
3. Almost recognized;
4. The first hole is 1 or 10;
5. Local rules on the day of the competition;
The number of clubs is limited to fourteen. In a regular game, each player can only bring fourteen clubs, and if there are less than fourteen clubs, fourteen clubs can be added. Damaged or unusable clubs can be replaced during the game, but the principle is not to delay the game; And no matter how to make up or change clubs, you are not allowed to borrow them from any player on the court. Once the club is lent until the game is terminated, the lent club shall be used by the lender, and the lender shall not use it.
The referee of the golf match watched around the players, sometimes standing in the crowd and sometimes sitting on the cart. Not only the referee, but also many observers help maintain the game. They won't affect the competition, and they won't take care of the flagpole, but problems will appear at any time. You can check the definition of the rule accordingly. It's easy to find them when watching the game, because referees usually hold thick rule books for reference at any time. Even if there are no books, they have a device to contact the Committee in their ears and eye-catching documents around their necks.
Rules of golf is revised every four years. The latest regulations in 2004 are available on many websites, so it is impossible to copy them for you. In addition, it is very difficult to thoroughly understand the rules of golf. Although the professional player qualification examination needs rules, it is a basic thing, and the referee examination is much more difficult. There are many situations in the game, and the referee is very important. It is normal that many professional experts make mistakes in the rules of the competition field.
