Besides the well-known Dali Ancient City, the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple and Cangshan Erhai Lake, what other scenic spots do you know? Some friends may say Shuanglang Ancient Town, Xizhou Ancient Town and Color Town, because they are all around Erhai Lake. In fact, in addition to these places, there are many ethnic scenic spots worth visiting in Dali. Here are some recommendations. How many have you been to?
1. Weishan Ancient City
Weishan ancient city is a national historical and cultural city, and it is the most similar place I have ever been to. The streets are full of ancient buildings of Ming and Qing dynasties, which are well preserved and antique. Non-holiday tourists are few and quiet, and most of them are locals with simple folk customs. Walking in the ancient city at night, sometimes you can't tell which dynasty you are in. This is the birthplace of Nanzhao, with the ruins of Nanzhao Capital and the birthplace of Yi people. A grand Torch Festival is held every year.
When I first arrived at Weishan, I felt very ordinary. Unlike the ancient city of Dali and Old Town of Lijiang, there are no music and specialties in the streets. In contrast, the streets here seem a bit "deserted" and the natural scenery is not beautiful. I thought it would be enough to stay for only two or three days, but I didn't want to leave when I stayed, and finally stayed for 20 days. There are many scenic spots here, in addition to the ancient city of Weishan, there are Weibaoshan, Temple of Big and Small, Huiming Temple, Xiongguan of Bird Road, Donglianhua Village, Longshan Yutu Site in Nanzhao Mountain, and He 'an.
2. Shaxi Ancient Town
Shaxi ancient town is a famous national historical and cultural town, located in Jianchuan County, Dali Prefecture. This is the only surviving ancient market on the ancient tea-horse road. There are complete streets, shops, theaters, temples and stone bridges here, which are very quaint. Because foreign travel magazines admire this ancient town, many foreigners come here to travel.
I still remember the first time I saw the ancient town of Shaxi. At that time, I had just walked to the Yujin Bridge, and the nearby fields were layered, reflecting the blue sky and white clouds; Several horses passed by on the ancient road, and the sound of hooves was endless; Several tourists stood on the bridge and took pictures. A flock of ducks passed by the bridge and quacked, as if they had returned to their best childhood. If you ask me what my imaginary ancient town looks like, I think it should be Shaxi ancient town. There are not many tourists, but the ancient town is just right, and everything is just right.
3. Jianchuan Ancient City
Compared with Dali ancient city and Old Town of Lijiang, Jianchuan ancient city is so poorly known that even people who have been to Dali many times may not know it. Although it is very low-key in the tourism circle, it is very famous in Yunnan, because Jianchuan has the best woodcarving master in Yunnan. There are more than 40 buildings in Jianchuan ancient city in Ming Dynasty and 46 buildings in Qing Dynasty/KLOC-0. Many famous people, such as Zhao Fan, Yang Qianyi, He and Yang, are worthy of the name. Xu Xiake has been here, too.
Apart from the ancient city, Jianchuan is the most worth seeing in Shi Zhongshan Grottoes, which is called "Mogao Grottoes". It is said that there is Dunhuang in the north and Jianchuan in the south. Most of them are sculptures from Nanzhao and Dali periods, among which there is a female genital sculpture with strong local color, which shows that the Bai people at that time had unique reproductive worship. In addition, there are Baoxiang Temple, Haiyuju Temple, Shiqian, and Jianhu in Jin Yong's works.
In addition to the above-mentioned ethnic scenic spots, there are also ethnic scenic spots in Dali, such as Nuodeng Ancient Village, Xiangyun Ancient City and Yongping Qudong Village. I don't know any of the above places. How many have you been to?
