In addition to Qatar National Football Association, 3/kloc-0 teams from five continents have qualified for the World Cup finals, and each continent's football association holds its own preliminaries to decide the final qualifying team.
In the 2022 World Cup finals, 32 teams participated, and the host Qatar team automatically advanced. Among the remaining 3 1 places, UEFA 13 places, African Football Association 5 places, Asian Football Association and South American Football Association 4 teams directly advanced, and Central and North American and Caribbean Football Association 3 directly entered the shortlist.
