This is the first sensation caused by teenagers in the history of the World Cup. Pele became a superstar in the Swedish final of 1958. This 17-year-old player became the youngest player, goal scorer and champion in the world, and Brazil won the world championship for the first time. Pele recovered from his knee problem and regained his vitality in the knockout stage. He scored the decisive goal in the quarter-final victory over Wales, and then Brazil beat France in the quarter-final and Pele scored an amazing hat trick. Bailey scored two more goals in the final, bringing his total to six. His goal in the final made Pele the only teenager to score in the World Cup finals, and Mbappé also achieved this feat on 20 18. Perhaps there is no player who can represent the World Cup better than Pele.
