Original text:
One yin and one yang are called Tao. Successful people are good, and successful people are also people. The benevolent regards it as benevolence, the knower regards it as knowledge, the people don't know it as daily use, and the gentleman's way is fresh.
It is the great cause of promoting virtue to show benevolence, hide all uses and drum up all things without worrying about saints!
Translation:
The coexistence of opposites of Yin and Yang is the root of the ups and downs of everything in the universe. This is the Tao. The continuation of Yin and Yang leads to the creation that all things in the universe are good, and what achieves all things is the nature of destiny, that is, moral significance. A benevolent person thinks it is benevolence when he sees this nature and this way, and a wise person thinks it is wisdom when he observes this nature and this way. People use it every day, follow this way, and live their own lives unconsciously, so the gentleman's way can cover everything and is the foundation of everything, but few people know it! The way of a gentleman (that is, Yi Dao's benevolence) can be seen in practice.
If you put it into use, you can give it up and hide it. It can stimulate the vitality of all things, not share the worries with the saints who have won the position of the son of heaven, and can establish the virtue of prosperity. How perfect the great cause is!
Introduction to the work:
Cohesion is a book of the Book of Changes, which generally refers to the cohesion of the Book of Changes or the cohesion of the Book of Changes. It is the fourth edition of the Book of Changes, which generally discusses the great significance of the Book of Changes. According to legend, Confucius expounded and summarized the Book of Changes seven times, commonly known as the Book of Changes.
"Cohesion" is the one with the highest ideological level among the seven expositions, and it quotes many Confucius' expositions, which should be sorted out by Confucianism after Confucius. It can be said that "cohesion" is the epitome of pre-Qin Confucian epistemology and methodology.
