The Chengdu Universiade was held in Chengdu from July 28th to August 8th, 2023. This Universiade is the third summer Universiade held in Chinese mainland after the Beijing Universiade in 20001and the Shenzhen Universiade in 20 1 1. It is also the first comprehensive world games held in western China.

The venue competition was held in Guanghua Campus Gymnasium of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Xipu Campus Gymnasium of Southwest Jiaotong University, Hongyi Pavilion of Sichuan Communications Vocational and Technical College, xihua university Gymnasium and Chengdu University Gymnasium, with 2 gold medals. Events include men's volleyball and women's volleyball; Team size: 24 males and 0/6 females.

Highlights of Chengdu Universiade
In the semi-final of women's volleyball on August 4th, 2023, China women's volleyball team defeated Polish women's volleyball team and reached the final 3-0. This trip to the Universiade of China Women's Volleyball Team was very smooth. Except for its first appearance in the group stage, it was unexpectedly lost to the German team by one game, and all the other games were very smooth.
