Notes on Mongolian horse racing

The Mongolian Sports and Entertainment Conference is called Nadam, and the contestants voluntarily sign up, regardless of age or sex, ranging from dozens to hundreds of people. It is one of people's favorite activities. The distance of horse racing has developed from 20, 30 and 40 kilometers in the past to short-distance races such as 3000m, 5000m and10000m. The participating horses are grouped, regardless of breed, and also divided into different races, sorted by time. Only one person and one horse are allowed in the race, and it is not allowed to change horses unless there are special circumstances. The race is divided into straight and round tracks, and it is not allowed to hit other people's horses with whips and silks. If an athlete falls off his horse halfway, he is allowed to mount the horse and continue the race. According to the rules, it is not allowed to run the inner ring within 100 meters after the start, but it is allowed to run the inner ring when crossing 100 meters and passing 10 meters. Otherwise, it is a foul. At the Nadam Convention, the winners and the top-ranked horses were arranged in front of the rostrum in turn, and excellent national singers recited "Horse Racing Poetry" loudly.
