Jiuquan Park is located at Gulou East 1.9 km, covering an area of 270,000 square meters. It is the only well-preserved China garden in Hexi Corridor with a history of more than 2,000 years. There is a bull's head relief above the plaque, which is carved with granite stone unique to the depths of Qilian Mountain. According to legend, in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, Jiuquan City was often flooded, and it was said that there were demons and ghosts. People built a temple in the northwest corner and southwest corner of the Bell and Drum Tower to suppress evil spirits. Because the two temples and the bell and drum tower form the shape of a bull's head, people also call Jiuquan City Woniu City.
Western Han Jiuquan Park
