Xinhuanet Montreux (Switzerland) 1 27th (Reporter Yang Ling) The draw for the qualifiers of the 2008 European Football Championship was held at noon on 27th in Montreux Convention Center, Switzerland. The 50 teams participating in the qualifiers are divided into 7 groups for round robin, and the top two in each group enter the final stage. The groups are as follows: Group A: Portugal, Poland, Serbia and Montenegro, Belgium, Finland, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan; Group B: France, Italy, Ukraine, Scotland, Lithuania, Georgia and Faroe Islands; Group C: Greece, Turkey, Norway, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Moldova and Malta; Group D: Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia, Ireland and Wales. Russia, Israel, Estonia, Macedonia and Andorra Group F: Sweden, Spain, Denmark, Latvia, Iceland, Northern Ireland and Liechtenstein Group G: Netherlands, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Albania, Belarus and Luxembourg. The final of Euro 2008 will be held in Switzerland and Austria from June 7 to 29 of that year. As hosts, Switzerland and Austria will go straight to the finals. (
