What does the Tathagata look like?
Buddha means sleep. Tathagata means a person who realizes that he is a Buddha. I think Chinese characters are full of wisdom. Look at the word "sleep", people are covered by their own knowledge, and knowledge is covered by endless troubles. If people can put down their knowledge and troubles and calm down, then maybe they can see themselves-real people and Buddha. So it can be said that when you become a Buddha, your appearance is the appearance of the Buddha, and you are the Buddha. The Buddha is just like you. The Buddha has countless appearances. It can also be said that the Buddha has no fixed appearance, and he appears with fate. According to Buddhist scriptures. Buddha is the awakened one and the solemn image of his lover. But the Diamond Sutra says, "If you hear about me and ask for me, you will go to Jaken, but you will not see the Tathagata." "Everything is illusory" and "should have no place to live, but the heart is born". Those who have access to root organs are enlightened at will. The average person, after listening to it, is just a voice or a delusion. So if you want to know what a Buddha looks like, only you can become a Buddha. You know that. Buddha knows.
