Fan Zhendong, a China male table tennis player, was born in 1997, and won the men's team championship, men's singles championship and mixed doubles championship in 20 12. 20 13 stood out from the team trials and qualified for the Paris World Table Tennis Championships.
Early experience
Before going to school, Fan Zhendong's parents heard that there was a sports team in primary school, and children who participated in the sports team could be exempted from part of the tuition fees, so they signed him up to learn table tennis at the Children's Palace in Haizhu District, Guangzhou. Before being selected to Guangzhou Weilun Sports School, they had studied under the Children's Palace in Haizhu District and coaches Wen Haoguang (Uncle Wen), Yang Biyu and Zheng in Haizhu District.
At the same time, Fan Zhendong Primary School attended Tongfu No.1 Middle School (a key table tennis primary school) in Haizhu District, Guangzhou. Fan Zhendong was selected by the city sports school because he represented the school in the city competition. He attends classes every morning and takes time off in the afternoon to go to the city sports school for training.
