What do monks eat to support themselves?
Monks in Sakyamuni's time lived on charity. However, after Buddhism was introduced into China, its form changed a little. People who practice are no longer begging for alms everywhere all day, but practicing in temples. They cultivated the land around the temple, and they were self-sufficient, which has been handed down, greatly reducing the social burden and solving the problem of eating for practitioners. A true yogi has very low dietary requirements, as long as he can fill his stomach. Every thought is in practice, and such a yogi is very respectable.
