Champions League play-off schedule rules

Introduction of the competition form, qualification, integral calculation, ranking rules and promotion rules of the Champions League play-off schedule.

1, competition form

The Champions League qualifiers are divided into four rounds, namely the first round, the second round, the third round and the play-offs. Among them, the first three rounds adopt single-wheel system, and the play-offs adopt two-wheel system.

2. Competition qualification

The clubs participating in the Champions League qualifiers are from the national leagues of UEFA member associations, including top teams and cup champions.

3, integral calculation

Champions League qualifiers adopt the points system, with 3 points for victory, 0 points for draw/kloc-0, and no points for failure. With the same score, the goal difference and the number of goals are in the front position.

4. Losers Group

In the play-offs, the elimination stage adopts the double-loss elimination system, that is, if you lose one game, you still have the opportunity to continue to participate in the competition. The teams of the four failed groups draw lots to match, and the winner of the competition enters the next round.

5. Ranking rules

In the Champions League qualifiers and play-offs, the ranking of participating teams is determined according to the following rules: winning points > goal difference > goals > direct game records > away goals > away victories > points ranking > UEFA club competition ranking.

6. Promotion rules

In the Champions League qualifiers and play-offs, the winning team continues to advance and the losing team is eliminated. In the play-offs, the advanced teams can qualify for the Champions League group stage.
