Where is the Gaolan?

Gaolan County is located in the middle of Gansu Province, with a total area of 2,556 square kilometers, a total population of172,600, and a cultivated land area of 435,800 mu. Located in the upper reaches of the Yellow River, it is connected to Chengguan District and Anning District of Lanzhou City in the south, and the administrative division is under the jurisdiction of Lanzhou City. The terrain belongs to the hilly and gully region of the Loess Plateau, with an altitude of1459.2m-2,445.2m and a relative height difference of 986m. There are clay sculptures, Buddha statues, caves, caves and so on in the county town during the Yuan and Ming Dynasties. Gaolan Taiping Drum once went to Beijing to participate in the Asian Games and the 50th anniversary celebration, and won the reputation of "the first drum in the world". In 2000, it was awarded the honorary title of "Hometown of Folk Art" by the Ministry of Culture. The Qing dynasty was Qianlong for three years, and it was renamed Gaolan County because of the existence of Gaolan Mountain in China, which has been in use ever since. From the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China, it was the first county and capital of Gansu.
