Phoenix meat can be cut in many seasons, but it is not easy to cut in summer when it is hot.
Before cutting, select the strong leaves on the mother plant and smooth the wound after picking. The leaves of succulents are soaked in rooting powder water for 3-5 minutes, and then dried in a cool and ventilated place. Succulents have strong drought tolerance and are not tolerant to waterlogging. The substrate can be loose, fertile culture soil with good air permeability and drainage performance, and cutting can be carried out after the leaf wound is healed. Before use, the soil can be disinfected and soaked, and then the dry leaves are cut into soft and moist soil. After cutting, the meat can be transferred to a cool and ventilated indoor environment for pickling. During the curing period, the amount of watering should be controlled to keep the soil moist, and there is no need to fertilize or contact with strong light. After the leaves take root in the later stage, they can be maintained normally and given sufficient light, water and fertilizer. During maintenance, attention should be paid to succulents' intolerance to waterlogging and strong light. When raising succulents outdoors, it is necessary to avoid succulents from getting wet in the rain, shade succulents, and properly water and fertilize succulents.
