Guangxiao Temple is the oldest temple in Guangzhou. Many Buddhist monks stop here. All the temples are dedicated to the Buddha, among which there is no statue of the god of wealth, and there is no one dedicated to the god of wealth.
Guangxiao Temple enjoys an important position in the history of Buddhism in China, and has become a place for the exchange and dissemination of Lingnan culture with Central Plains culture. The most influential is the Argument on Guangxiao Temple written by Huineng, the sixth ancestor, which has the greatest influence on later generations.
