Measures of People's Republic of China (PRC) Municipality on the Administration of Issuing Training Certificates for Seafarers Chapter III Conditions for Applying for Training Certificates

Article 9 An applicant for a training certificate shall meet the following basic requirements:

(a) At least 65-438+06 years old;

(two) to complete the required training;

(3) Having the required maritime service qualification and qualified post performance;

(4) meeting the requirements for the health examination of seafarers;

(5) passing the corresponding examinations and completing the specified internship on board;

(6) Other conditions stipulated in these Measures.

However, those who apply for the proficiency certificate of survival craft and rescue boat training, the proficiency certificate of fast rescue boat training and the training certificate of ship security officer shall be at least 18 years old; Those who apply for the special training certificate for high-speed ship crew for the first time shall not be over 45 years old.

Article 10 An applicant for the ship security officer training certificate shall have at least 12 months of maritime service experience before attending the training.

The applicant for the special training certificate for high-speed ship crew shall have the experience of being a captain, driver, chief engineer and engineer on a high-speed ship for not less than 12 months or not less than 12 months.

The applicant for the special training certificate for large-scale ship maneuvering shall have at least 12 months of sea service experience as a captain and pilot before attending the training.

Eleventh before applying for the training certificates listed in Item (2) to Item (19) of Article 6 of these Measures, the basic safety training shall be completed;

To apply for the Advanced Training Certificate of Oil Tanker Cargo Operation and the Advanced Training Certificate of Chemical Tanker Cargo Operation, the Basic Training of Oil Tanker and Chemical Tanker Cargo Operation shall be completed;

To apply for the advanced training certificate of cargo operation of liquefied gas carriers, the basic training of cargo operation of liquefied gas carriers shall be completed.

Article 12 Anyone who applies for a certificate of competency for fast rescue boat training shall hold a certificate of competency for survival craft and rescue boat training.

Those who apply for the medical training certificate on board shall hold the proficiency certificate of first aid training.

Thirteenth applicants for the following training certificates shall pass the training certificate examination, and have the corresponding maritime service qualifications or complete the internship on board:

(a) to apply for a certificate of proficiency in the training of survival craft and rescue boats, it shall have more than 6 months of maritime service experience;

(2) To apply for the advanced training certificate for cargo handling of oil tankers, chemical tankers and liquefied gas carriers, they shall have at least three months' experience in maritime service of the corresponding type of ships, or have completed on-board training of the corresponding type of ships for not less than 1 month and not less than three loading operations and three unloading operations;

(3) To apply for the special training certificate for the crew of high-speed ships, it shall complete the on-board training for the captain, driver, chief engineer and engineer of high-speed ships for not less than 1 month or 50 single voyages.
