Five basic rules of volleyball

First: players and their positions. Each team can send 12 or 14 players in a volleyball match, of which 12 list can only have one free player and 14 list can only have two free players. Teams can choose the number of players in this game before the game starts.

Each team's players have their own fixed positions, three in front of the net and three near the baseline. Before serving, each team must stand in a fixed position, otherwise it will be fouled. The basic position is that the players in the back row can't stand in front of the players in the front row, and the players in the same row can't exchange positions with each other, and the positions rotate clockwise.

Second: serve. Volleyball service takes turns clockwise. When the team has the right to serve, the server will serve the ball to the opponent's half of his own backcourt, and the service range shall not exceed the marking line. You can serve with your fist or palm, as long as it is any part of your hand. Be careful not to step on the service line when serving, but stepping on the court when falling is not a foul.

Third: score. At present, volleyball adopts the scoring system per ball, that is, one side scores and gets the right to serve at the same time. In the first four games, the winner needs to get 25 points, or two points higher than his opponent on this basis; The scoring system of the fifth game is 15, and the first player who scores 15 wins, or is two points higher than his opponent on this basis.

Fourth: Free men. In volleyball matches, we can often see a person wearing a different color from other players in our own field. This man is a free man in the volleyball match. Free men are players who take the place of defenders. Because he is not limited by the number of substitutions, he is called a "free man". Free men can't serve, block, attack in the front row, nor can they make offensive moves in the front row.

Fifth: substitution and suspension. According to the rules of volleyball competition, each team has six substitution opportunities in each game. A substitute can replace the starter or be replaced by the same player. Due to the popularity of Hawkeye technique, the technical suspension between 8 points and 16 points was cancelled in volleyball competition, so each team only had two opportunities to stop voluntarily, each lasting 30 seconds. If there is no Hawkeye skill in this game, the technical pause can be resumed 1 minute.
