Principles for recruiting civil servants:
(1) The principle of openness, equality, competition and merit-based admission must be implemented in the recruitment of civil servants, and the method of combining examination and assessment should be adopted according to the standard of having both ability and political integrity.
(2) Article 24 of the Civil Service Law stipulates that the following persons shall not be employed as civil servants:
(1) Having received criminal punishment for committing a crime;
(2) Having been expelled from public office;
(3) there are other circumstances in which the law stipulates that it is not allowed to be employed as a civil servant.
Qualifications for civil servants
Conditions for applying for civil service:
(1) has China nationality;
(2) At least 18 years old;
(3) Supporting the Constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC);
(4) Having good conduct;
(5) Having the physical conditions to perform their duties normally;
(6) Having the educational level and working ability that meet the post requirements;
(seven) other conditions prescribed by law. In addition to the above conditions, civil servants applying for the exam should also have the qualifications stipulated by the competent department of civil servants at or above the provincial level.
